i think the bellhousing for j35 and j32 is different. why are you asking? if you want an 'upgraded' auto trans maybe use an av6 or ody. then again im not sure how the ua6 and ua7 trans differs either

Yes, but that wasn't the question; the 2--7 Type-S transmission has a different bolt pattern compared to the 2007 Accord Sedan or the 2004 TL.

wow thats the first I ever heard of that. an accord 3.0 transmission fits a 04 TL 3.2.. wild. I wonder if the transmission will handle the added power and weight of the car.??

Ummm, not trying to be a dick here, but if that's the first time you've heard of the Accord V6 tranny fitting in a 2004-2006 TL, then you haven't spent much time on this board; it is a very common swap.

Yes I have heard it before from a honda accord "six cylinder" but I didn't realize it had been done between a 3.0 previous generation honda accord. I thought the last post I read on this subject which was years ago, the guy took the trans off another 3.2.
But I dont read all posts. I go away, and pop in occasionally.. I dont keep up with everything that happens on this website. Depends on how board I am, like last night. Haha IHC used to call me a troll. haha But I don't troll like voyeurism... haha That has to do with watching. I dont even watch unless there is something specific I am looking for, or if I have info that someone might need, I may post.

Hi, I have a 2008 TL base and it needs new transmission. The Tl S type one are you sure will fit correctly ? I'm looking to buy either a Tl or Tl s type transmission to replace mine. I don't care which one as soon as its in good condition in case you know where to buy. Thanks in advance.

Any 2007 or 2008 TL transmission will work in your car.
