Why is everyone salin their TL's

Everyone I know that had a TL has sold theirs. I keep on seen new ones also every where. I hope they don't turn into those types of cars everyone has.

As price drops, it will become easier to obtain.
TL doesn't hold it's value too well....

It may not hold value like a Lexus, but these certainly hold their value well. Considering mmade22 sold his TL for 10k or something even though it had 215k miles on it is astounding.

See our 2001 passat. 85k miles and it is work less than 3k. THAT is depreciating value.

I didn't learn grammar in Kindergarten, I learned it in First grade bro. Re-read both post buddy and see what I did buddy.

By virtue of your argument, is it safe to assume you did not pass the first grade?

Yeah, I failed the first grade about 4 times. ESL is what I needed.

I learned capitalization in 2nd grade though.

Look over this thread and you will find a few reasons why the 3G TLers are 'salin' their cars. I'm one of those 3Gers..said bye bye to my TL-S last week.

The caliber of new members here is just not the same; plus all the hacks/mods threads already exist thus making this an obsolete adventure; it's time to move on. Happy TLing!

This is true but not enough for me to get rid of it just yet. I still like its styling.

I'm sure we're going to see a lot more carbon fiber high wings on TL's as time goes on.

See i would ask it this way. Why is the 3rd gen selling almost as well on the used car market as the 4th gen new? I was shocked to see how many new 3rd gen owners were joining AZ since I purchase mine in June. Even the 2nd Gen is selling pretty good still.

HA HA HA!!! Of course I have!!! I actually like the 4th gen but what I do NOT like is the fact that it grew so much bigger. So much so that the 258hp 3rd gen is quicker than the fwd 4th gen in the reviews I read.

+1 to you my friend.
i would take a 3g over the 4g anyday. it is nice only because it is newer but it is a lot bigger and not as attractive. i still love the way my car looks. i dont think the new tl is the ugliest thing out there either but it is a little wierd looking. if i was gonna spend that money again on a new car the tl would not be it. i would go for a lexus or infiniti instead, but the 3g tl is still very attractive and i am not ready to get rid of mine.

Aw, c'mon. Not ALL of us newbies are bad...

In my opinion, I think many of the individuals moving out of their current TL's have been pleasantly surprised by the come-back of the US automotive market. The ho-hum vehicles of Detroit have really perked up; in conjunction with the huge government incentives to move away from foreign vehicles and into US-bred vehicles - drivers are swinging back to the other side.

Nicely said.

Judging your spelling, grammar and capitalization, you have obviously passed kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade.

Congratulations!

The caliber of new members would seem to have very little to do with whether you want to keep your car or not. Right???
I think I'm a bit older than a lot of the folks that appear to post on here, but I'm getting a TL because it appears to be a car that I would enjoy. The forum banter has little to do with that either way.
I will say though, the "dude" and "bro" quotient is completely off the charts.......

Hahaha

On topic, I'll probably keep my TL until it dies! First drove it with 4 miles, and 76,xxx later I still love it.
