crazy. Where I worked at they gave me 15000$ for the trade in value for that car.
They closed down and wholesaled for 11,500$ and another dealer is selling for $14,995.

Feel sorry for the buyer once again.
Warning Acurazine: DO NOT BUY!

you have been warned.

Here is the story: in short

I had a chromed out TL and joined azine and the car transformed to something I never saw coming. Unfortunately, the car started to crap out. Everything started going slowly.
First the battery and all the rear speakers are blown out. (minor problems) Then the alternator went and the mounts. I fixed the mounts. Then the car compressor blew out.

I still loved it, but got into an accident. The suspension is damaged horribly. When I took the car to my friend's body shop he painted the entire right side a different shade of silver. It was going to be a rumble. I only gave the guy 400$ and left.

On my way home the car cut off and smoke just started coming from the engine. Finally what drew the line....I felt the tranny going. So I got out the car quickly and looked around for a Type-S or RL.

Alot more problems but don't feel like typing no more.

Also the car felt like it had a lag in the engine. Don't know how to explain it. It sucked, but looked hot. haha.

One of the reasons, I will never buy a used Acura...to me its too risky. I have turned in a car similar. It was an Accord.. not all problems are evident on a simple test drive.

Yeah I wouldn't buy a used TL, simply because younger people drive those cars. too risky.

the RL on the other hand.

Nah bro.. Honda and Acura in general, I just wont buy used. You're right you have better odds with an RL just cuz of the age factor of who usually drives those cars, but its not just age, its all quality of the vehicle. I just feel our cars age very quickly, I have a 05 RX with 60k miles on my driveway and drives like its still new and no F'n rattles or anything. I'm not saying its fun to drive cuz its not... its gay.. but quality however is just unmatched. However I will buy any Honda/Acura model 97 and prior because I feel like that was the cutoff year where quality was amazing before it took a dump.

I will never buy a used car, ever. The car can look perfect, like that TL does, and have major problems. You really have no idea whats wrong with it

Blazin, that car was hot but you are a very smart man to get out of it. Seems like you got good money for it. The RL is in a class of it's own brotha.

Buying used is a gamble and sometimes you loose. I bought my car that was 2 years old with 30k and I lucked out. The car has been rock solid as I thought it would be. It's nice to save money in the beginning and let the other guy take the hit.

just get the certified ACURA WARRANTY FOR 100K & You'l be fine. They wont certify all of their used cars, especialy the bad ones, cuz they would lose out on all the repairs.

Thats what I did with my LandRover & boy was I glad! The dealer would get tired of me coming in so often.... Thats why I sold it. But I only put about $300 out of pocket for like $5000 worth of repairs & parts goin bad. The $300 was for the deductibles from LR cost me $100 every time I took it in.
