Earlier 3gen TLs that were sold in 03 as a 04 had tranny problems........they had a recall on the trannys to install the oil jets on the 3gen TLs.

Actually i lied, so far no MECHANICAL problems. . . 06 5AT. . . about 23K, had the CEL come on under hard acceleration once. . . never happened again, service advisor told me not to bring it in since code wasn't solid engine light. The driver side mirror had to be replaced due to spec of rust developing in center on mirror. Heated seat light (low or high switch) is blown. no tranny problems

I got over 39k; no tranny problems. Only had to have my 3rd brake light interior uphostry replaced. My memo seat does not save inputs, but other than those nothing else.

Im like at 71K. I thought I had tranny issue but it was actually a recall.

Re-Flash the ECU. I was having misfires in the cylinders and that why the car would automatically shift even wihen in SS mode.

high mileage TL's

Just wanted to know if there are any higher milage TL's like above 60k?
Also how is the TL doing with the miles is it still like day 1?
Mine has about 75,000 on it and it rides very well.
I didn't have it since new so i dont know what it felt like new, but it rides very good like any new car I've ever owned anyone have good experiances with the TL?

Bought mine new in January 2004, with four miles.

It now has 42,000+ miles on it and runs as smoothly as the day I drove it off the lot.

We just had a LONG thread on this a couple weeks ago with everyone chiming in about their mileage.

I think it was something like "most miles on a TL"

UPDATE... just over 3 years old, 96,322 miles. All work done by me, according to MID. No failures. Gathering items for 105K service. Looking for 200K+ from this great car.

Probably be buried in it.

What's the year/mileage on your TL?

I saw a similar thread on the 1G TL forums and I thought it would be interesting see how much our 3G (2004-2008) TL's have been driven. You may include your transmission, color ext/interior and whether you have the Navi or not in your TL.

My TL: 2005 NBP/Ebony w/Navi 5AT. 21k miles
