ok ladies n gent, i dont know if any of u have gotten this...but im gettin sick of (kinda BUt nut really) i have my headlights set to turn off 60 seconds after u lock the car, couple of times i went to nice resteruants n i've been asked "sir, are u the owner of the silver BMW? u left ur headlights on", the other day was at a friends house with her in the basement, i went to get something out of my car, an i as i came back into the basement door, her mother came down n asked the croud who has the silver BMW ur headlights are on, now r they jus really dumb, or does our TL really look like a BMW??? is it that sexxy??

i think the TLs are nicer looking then the BMW but how do u set your lights on timers?

well in a year only 3 ppl mistaken my car for BMW. One of them was guy @ body shop and 2 guys @ Honda dealership

where the odometer is...i was messing with the left n right key n select n got to this part where it ask's u, lock doors when, 1.turn igniton on 2put it drive, then some other things...then it ask's how long to delay till auto locking the car, n i think the next one is headlight shut off delay..i set mine to the latest, cus i love my headlights(main reason i bought the car)

you do that in SETTINGS in the MID.

You can make quiet few changes in there....

I can see more peole mistaking the silver or anthacite for a BMW. Those colors are very popular with both brands.

if you leave ur headlight and fog buttons on 24/7 they go open when you unlock the door..and for 30 seconds when you lock them

yeah i know, and one of the guys @ honda dealership was a finance manager and he comes running and goes WOW nice BMW and i was like ummmm yeah its a TL. The other guy @honda dealership was a salesman and he goes it looks like 7-series from the side

i just mentioned this in the "i got lexus instead of tl" thread. pretty gay. but yeah...it makes me happy that people think TL = bimmer

Someone pointed to my SSM TL and said "Oh, No! Another Japanese BMW, again".... that showed me how popular 3G TLs is in metro LA area....and of course I feel like I should punch someone....

IF you really like cars you should have no problems distinguishing cars. That said, my neighborhood kids got a RC BMW Z8....I thought it was a Boxster at first. OH well.

When I first got my '00 NBP Accord coupe, my neighbor thought for a moment it was a BMW too.
