where can I get the black "Acura" brake calipers?
I see a few acurazine members have the black brake calipers with the word Acura on them. They look hot! I was wondering where can I get a set for my 06 TL. Are they oem? thanks!

the calipers are 4-piston vs the stock single piston ones. also the disk is bigger in diameter and everything is brembo, caliper, disk, and pads. the braking on the car in indeed flawless, on my 02 tl-s i had b4 it had the same brakes as the auto 3g tl, and when i break from high speed they overheated and warped and there was a horrible vibration....with these brembos i have not experienced any brake fade even when braking hard from speeds of 140mph+....the best brakes i have ever operated period.

Brembo are good breaks, but if you only drive your car hard. If you are just a casual driver and do not spirit all the time bremo are not worth the money - they do not last as the regular breaks, costs 3x more to replace and Acura did half ass job for just putting them up front. I would rather have regular breaks on my 6MT than oversize Brembo front and no matching rear. BTW some magazine did a stop test and actually TL with regular breaks had a shorter stopping distance.

Thanks for the all the information you guys! I will leave mine as is I guess. However, I might paint the calipers red. any ideas on how they will look? has anyone painted their calipers? if so please show some pictures becuz I would love to see it! by the way, I have an anthracite TL, and I am thinking that red red color will match my type s tails I think.
