I was just wondering, when VSA is on, is it working only when the light flashes? Or is that just in extreme cases?

For some reason, it might be subliminal, but the car feels marginally smoother when VSA is off even in normal driving. Is it just psychological?

 

VSA is only taking action when the light flashes.

Traction Control is a sub-function of VSA, so if Traction Control engages, the VSA light will flash.

 

I agree, the car does feel smoother with VSA off. I always keep it on as a safety precaution .. better being safe than sorry .

 

VSA works as soon as the car feels a slight slip from the pavement thats when u c the light flash
