IMO the TypeS grill doesnt look good. Use the 04-06 grill and adjust it to fogs like verybody did.. Search for the DIY!!!

IMO the type s grills are a nice change to the stock grills if you've had them for a while now. I did the type s lower and mid grills on mine and about 5 other TLs and have seen alot of other TLs with them as well. seems to be catching on more than using the stock grills. Look how mine looks:

gives a nice more sport and different look to the front and it shows up the front of the car alot more than just blending in with it.

I was thinking the same thing. Much cheaper option. Plus, I think the lower stock grilles are fairly cheap.

this really is the cheaper option and not a bad option as well, i did it this way when i first did the accord fog mod but then i ended up seeing some type S tls on the road and started to like the honeycomb mesh, then i ended up using those instead. I gives a more updated look in my opinion. But cutting the stock grills is always a good option as well.

I used this way first when i didnt have the money to spend on the car, now that i do, i opted for the Type S grills instead.

yeah they are. i bought my lower type S grills for $30 so the 04-06 grills cant be any more expensive, just incase the mod doenst come out good and you need to start over. IMO the type S grills were alot easier to cut and shape compared to the stock grills

they dont fit if you try to just put them in the way they are, you have to customize them to fit the 04-06 bumper. Its alot easier to cut and line up with the fogs IMO than the stock lower grills.

I must agree that it looks good on a WDP , but no chrome is accepted on my NBP so I guess when I'll start this mod, I'll have to choose My fogs are in the mail!

if you dont like the chrome you can always use the base 07-08 strip instead. its the brushed metalic strip just like the peice around our grill and just like our grill. Crook used that on his because he didnt want chrome on his NBP either, he was going for the clean brushed metalic look as well.

I wanted to this too but i bought the chrome ones already, dont really feel like taking them out now. but if they break or get damaged im going to go with the brushed metalic ones

Can anyone answer this: Is there any possibility to change lower grills without taking the bumper cover off? Has anyone tried that?
