one owner 166,000

I have an 2006 with nav and this is by far the best car I have ever owned.
166,000 miles in 9 years. Never had any issues just keep doing regular maintenance and who knows how long it can run for. The car doesn't even burn any oil in between oil changes.
I have driven much newer cars that don't run this good. Most people can't believe how new the car looks.

Just hit 200,000 km's on my TL. Motor blown already lol, probably an isolated case but I don't think the J-Series is all that susceptible to hard driving.

Cracked 246k. I was shooting to hit 250k by the end of the year but some maintenance/work/back ordered parts had it on the sidelines for a couple of weeks.

Have an 05 TL with 205,300 (2nd owner) Just got this car for free because the tranny needed replaced. I had a re-manufactured transmission put in it and it drives great. I hope to make it last quite a bit longer but we will see.

Just joined the forum but have been a long time owner.

Original owner of my white 2006 6sp, hovering at 52,500 miles. Aside from regular maintenance and a soon-to-be-purchased new set of tires, this car is as good as the day I drove it off the dealer lot.

2005 TL+Nav

I bought my '05 new 10 years ago this month. I just took it off the road - 195k miles on it.

The engine and transmission have been great. The front end suspension has been starting to fall apart lately. CV joint here, tie rod there, things like that. But we get plenty of salt on the roads so some of that is to be expected.

There's lots of other small inconveniences - some of the inside button lights have gone out, the driver automatic door lock doesn't work, passenger window doesn't always auto-up, navigation system is on the fritz, dented rear bumper and trunk. Headlight starters need to be replaced. I'll probably be selling it on craigslist soon.

Anyway, I got a new (to me) 2012 TL SH-AWD + Tech. Love it!

Just hit 95K on 04 Aspec. Just had to fix passenger side window regulator which was rattling and malfunctioning. Starting to get some rust on the trunk - small spot, and I have a dent on the passenger pillar. Beyond these items the car still runs great and looks almost new.

06 NBP AT - 151K. Bought used in 2010 with 69K. Drives (and looks) better than when I first bought it 5 years ago. I grew as a hobby mechanic thanks to it as well.

Parts replaced:
1. transmission (failed at 95K; replaced with Jasper rebuilt - much smoother than it ever was; done by a real master mechanic)
2. brakes/rotors (twice)
3. inner/outer tie rods
4. end links
5. engine mounts
6. inner CV repacking (accidentally separated it)
7. spherical compliance bearings (front lower control arms)
8. starter
9. suspension (didn't need to; just bought a used 24K from an AZ member who swapped with aftermarket; mine at 78K on them at the time)

Maintenance:
1. oil at every 3K with Mobil 1 5w-30 and Honda/Mobil1 filters
2. transmission oil every 15K with Honda DW1 (warranty reason; plus it's improved over the z1 I think)
3. Coolant every year (just drain and fill with the exception of the first one when I did heater core behind the engine - PITA!)
4. Brake bleed every year with DOT4
5. PS fluid every year
6. Tire rotation every oil change

Plan on keeping it until I can no longer keep it running.

For her 150K anniversary, I did a complete exterior and interior detail job.

1. washed
2. clayed
3. compounded meguiars mirror glaze 105
4. polished meguiars mirror glaze 205
5. sealed/waxed x 2 with meguiars mirror glaze synthetic sealant 2.0
6. chemical guys black light
7. cleared up the head lamps (about to try the rustoleum ultra cover 2x clear coat process)
8. polished muffler tips

212k 2007 TL-S, 6MT

Just diagnosed with oil pump and rear main oil seal leaks, so I'll get her in for a fix. She should run for another 100k miles, and hopefully longer, until I can find a decent replacement (although nothing can take her place). Getting tough to find MTs out there.

Purchased the car in Jan 2011, with 23K miles, today at 73300 miles, still running strong with just regular maintenance stuff. After 4 years, still cant think of any other car. In addition, Acurazine forum has been a great inspiration, in learning a lot about this car.

Base 05 has 149K today... I'm running into some age-related issues now (front axles), but I admit to neglecting her after retiring 3 years ago... I got tired of the Acura dealer trumping up 'issues' during routine maintenance checks, so I moved to lower cost alternatives. Yes, I do some routine work here and there (flushing PS fluid this afternoon), but not much as a 59 yo female.

Oh, BTW I took my '89 Accord SEi to 190K by 2001 - it was still going strong when I sold it. Hondas have been a single girl's best friend for their reliability! Have owned a 1980 Accord, 1989 Accord, 2001 Acura TL and 2005 TL now. Of course, the next car will be one of these two models.

209k so far... just did the power steering pump o-ring replacement and a rear caliper replacement with pads, fluids, etc...

The car has needed nothing but oil changes, brake pads and tires since brand new for me. Love it still!

$87,500 miles.....I just had the alternator and the oil pump replaced.....UNDER EXTENDED WARRANTY!

They told me the alternator would cost $750 or more. Then I remembered my Extended Service Policy. All I had to pay was my $25.00 deductible.

Just turned 80K on my 2005, and JUST had to get the Brembo's changed for the FIRST TIME. I don't downshift to brake, but I do coast in gear and just go to neutral before stopping. These are NOT highway miles, either. I'd estimate 80% driving in DC suburbs. Some say I drive like a granny, but I do wind it out once in a while. I was planning on posting pictures of 80K brembo "remains", hopefully soon, if anyone is interested.
