What are your thoughts on a two tone tl ?
as of right now i have a anthracite metallic Tl. it was recently damaged by the construction on my block leaving hundreds of scratches all over my car. so the company will be paying for all the work i am having done. i am not sure how i want to do this though. i could either keep the same color which i happen to like alot but i also had thoughts of a two tone. i was wondering if anyone has done this or if there are picture floating around.
I actually like the looks of the black and anthracite car...that said, do it if you plan on keeping the car indefinitely. If you're eventually selling you may wind up taking a financial hit- it might not appeal to a potential buyer.
Modded cars = less at resale (in most cases)

so as for resale value i dont mind im a 17 yr old college student i will have this car pretty much until it hits a junkyard especially since im at 60K nd going up quick
so anyway as for colors i was really thinking black with the anthracite to avoid repainting the entire car. i was thinking black on the top half with maybe a white one inch strip to seperate the top and bottom. and i also ave 20% tints on my windows to darken the whole top half.

Curious as to why u went from AM to another stock color as WDP? Not knocking ur decision but there are a few white colors that are better than WDP.
I say paint it Anthracite and then get the roof done in Black Sapphire Metallic (BMW Color). As well I would suggest that you have them redo the whole car as you'll be able to tell the new paint from the old pretty easily.
Oh btw this car also has a 3.2 converted into a 3.7
depending on the severity of the scratches I would take the cash from the construction company and put it in the bank for later. Have the car buffed out and enjoy it. It seems like whenever I have paint work done several years later the clearcoat fails and it looks like sh#t. So if you are going to keep the car a long time i would take the money and save/invest in your future
yea he from my way too. $hit i celebrated my 7th bday at that mcd's playpen!!!

(not kidding)i've seen it a bunch of times and i think the same as you about the red and doing it the right way
I was in Princeton recently and saw a two tone briefly but it wasn't AM/Black. Can't remember exactly what color is was but they closer together so there wasn't such an abrupt change. But the lines were the same as pictured above.
I thought it looked nice myself.
