you gotta pay to play. If it's too hard dont do too much. Having food on the table
is better than sportin' a nice ride. TL's are great rides though.
Good luck man !

42, Project Manager at a regional lab company. Technically paid cash for my 07 Type-S but actually invested 20k from a rolled-over 401K and lent myself the money at a low interest rate.

28, Workforce Analyst - I've had my car 3 years, it's paid for but its all stock except for tint and I bought it used. Once you get 1 car paid off and save a little it's much easier to trade up to another somewhat nicer used car & pay the difference cash.

Advanced
28 - Master Auto Technician, student teacher at GM ASEP. I've had my 3G TL for almost 3 and a half years, and I love it. I financed it for 350 an month. Got a pretty good price on it; the dealer ended up only making 500 on what they owned the car for. I love buying used cars its kind of the fun of finding a car that you really like.

26, Saved up a 6500k down payment in 9 months while going from one title to another: Support specialist, to QA specialist at the same software company. Next year I would be starting software development at the same company.
I am paying around 400$ a month for the car, and I am paying 100$ in insurance.
My 2007 is covered by Acura plus until 2014.
Before this car I had a 1990 Pontiac Sunbird, then a 1997 Accord, and i find any excuse to drive my TL
From the earlier posts i see a lot of the guys who paid full price for their 04s worked in IT... Good to know

I am 19 and work as a busboy its my first job looked for 4 months for a tl and after a year of working hard bought my dream car cash. Most happy cause I'm youngest kid to have a car that looks this nice and did it all on my own.
A white tl came with 19" rim type s suspension, was a car I couldn't let go since I also got stock wheels and stock suspension, when I saw car my jaw dropped and knew I had to have it.

not everybody posts replies here. Who would advertise they work at Mcdonalds or a convenient store? Only the proud would post here.(on the average) but I can say that I worked for a convenient store a few years ago when the telecom crash happened. That was even after 4 yrs in telecom and after college... but before telecom & college, it was all retail, always. Hardly prideful employment. haha People don't always tell you the total truth.

I hope the VA is taking care of you, and yes I've seen the National Guard and their antics when I was deployed in 09 . I'm currently with 2-23 Infantry so I work with a bunch of infantry dudes that are cool as shit. I should be joining the Reserve/Guard soon so I will know first hand what its like....
