how much money did you guys put down!? and when did you get it // how many miles?? i got it with my father's credit during a promotional event with 1.9% apr. 5yr. and lol i know its pretty steep . thats not including insurance. but i put a grand down.. nothing to trade. got it in aug 2010 with 39K miles.
Also I'd like to ask what insurance companies you guys use. Since I'm in a fully insured TL (2006) and my mom is in a fully insured Suburban (2005), also my dad is driving my old 97 S10 (not fully insured) we're paying nearly $600 PER MONTH in insurance.

I have the car and loan in my name with no cosigner. I put $500 down (yes $500, not $5,000) and came out with 6 years @ $295.00/month. That is with 5.4% interest rate.

OT, but this is why you never want to do a "sign and drive" or zero down car purchase. it's a trick, since the car's value will drop moderately during the first year.

Ecommerce, in a nutshell distribute/wholesale cell phones to businesses that resell on Ebay/Amazon.
However, it's time for me to move on from that and have been looking at different businesses but it's done very, very well for me when Ebay/Amazon were starting to gain popularity.

CCNA certified? if not, try grabbing one. My friend did a 1 week boot camp and passed. Now he's getting offers for 60k/yr and he's not even a college grad He has like 5 years sys admin experience as well.

Currently working on my CCNA ( Currently have a BS in CMIS and a couple MS certs). Doing the CCNA self study as I can't afford the 1 week boot camp tution. Been trying to talk to my boss about it but has always given me the run around. Also was thinking of relocating due to the high cost of living in NY, but a lot of variables come to play. Anyways thanks for the tip.

Absolutely agree there.....too bad their home owners rates aren't competitive though. My wife has her car covered under USAA and mine is under Country Companies. USAA Home Owners insurance was twice what I pay through Country so I have kept my car, house, and life at Country.

Wow I didn't realize there were so many people on here making some great money. I think I am on the low end. I make 65k and work as a low level tech support at a large hospital in Miami Fl. Oh and I only have 2 BS associate degrees. I guess I should go for my bachelors some day but I am 43 now so...

We have allstate.. - my 07 TL (Full) hubbys 12 WRX (Full) And 05 Camry (Liability Only) . We pay $405 a month. Multi-car discount, student discount, veteran discount and a few other discounts for passive and active security features etc... One claim over 5k in the past 5 years but the policy has never lapsed and has been active since '95 (Dads) Only violation has been an unsafe in NJ (no points) 4 years ago. Another thing that I had to tack onto my loan was the wheel and tire insurance (NJ is notorious for high theft of Type S wheels, can't see myself driving around in XKR wheels like most that have their stocks stolen), and gap
I just have one question, what was the purchase price of the car....? Because at $295.00 for 72 not taking into account interest, minus the $500 of your DP I'm coming up with $20,740.00 ... Also details on your car... At $295.00 a month the only thing anyone I know has ever been able to get their hands on is a lease on a base Altima with no money down... Also your insurance... please hook me up with your agent we used to have a get around town beater (97 Saturn) Liability only and that thing was $80 a month...

Nope you don't have to be older to get cheaper insurance , I am 23 paying $1400 for a 07 TL-S and 00 Accord V6 coupe, full coverage for both, max coverage on everything, I got clean driving record since 16 years old (no ticket, accident). I have a payment at $200 a month for 72 months with insurance included, price for the car was $19.5k hint, unlike every body else here I put $14k down (Yes $14,000) as down payment. I am planing to pay the car off within the end of this year if everything going according to plan.

I am 27, IT consultant, low six to mid six (depending on the engagement), bought 06 TL/Navi after I came back from Australia. Paid $15,600 @68K. Been so much fun to drive it as well as work on it.
2012 model is warming up to me, especially seeing some of the exterior mods that some of the members are doing. Interior of the TLs > most cars out there in any class (for my preference).
Married, no kids, no mortgage, no debt. We're DINKS

just out of curiousity, what are all your occupations? or how did you afford to pay for the tl? it's just suprising w/ the economy doing so bad that there are a lot of people buying luxury cars. i'm trying to figure out if i can afford a 500 a month car payment plus 150 insurance on top of my mortage, and want to know who you all do it.
here's my info:
23, IT director in southern ca about 60k annually. i plan to down 15k, and pay 500 a month for 4 years.

21, bought my 04 DGP TL with cash when I turned 20. I always bought my own cars with cash paid off since I was 17, but this was the nicest/most expensive car I bought. I wanted a type-s but got a deal on this car I couldn't pass up and couldn't justify paying 3x as much for almost the same car.
Im officially a full time student but I've been buying/selling exporting cars since I was 17 so I snowballed enough cash to buy and mod my car. Also pay my own bills including insurance cell phone blah blah blah. It's nice to be independent and able to help my parents when necessary since they're retired
