What is your average Miles per tank?

Hey guyz,

I was just curious what yall's average mileage per tank you get. Twice I have gotten about 220 miles? Is that normal? I was thinking that was kind of low. And that's normal city driving?

Thanks,

If I do city driving, I get about 220-230 (18mpg) as well. On highway driving, I get up to 35mpg. I think stop and go thing is really killing the mileage not to mention idling also kills it too.

I drive combined city and highway. I need to find how much I'll get just on a highway.

Imho...

QuickTL,

You will get varied answers depending on those different conditions and environmental factors. If you drive in city a lot, like NYC, super traffic bumpy stop & go, I could easily see your tank mileage would be around 180-250. If you drive in city, like St. Louis (sorry, not offend), you may get better MPG with more mileage per tank. This city ain't that city...

The best answers you should get will be from someone living somewhere near you and driving the similar route as you've been doing everyday. Maybe it's only in my dream...

According the trip computer I get 21 MPG and average about 25-28 mph. I'm in the Dallas area and do mix-mode driving, but a lot of my highway driving is nothing but bumper-to-bumper traffic, so it may as well be city.

On trips to Houston and back where I average about 70 mph, I get 32 mpg.

I usually get about 26-28mpg for a tank, with mostly highway driving. If a trip is all highway (and I'm cruising at 70), then I usually see about 32mpg. With a 17 gallon tank, that's over a 500 mile range! Although the most I have gotten out of a tank is 420.

i average 23/24 city (dallas) and 28/29 highway. Still breaking it in with about 1500 miles so far.

I was getting about 26 mpg at 80 mph and 25 mpg at 100 mph. wasn't watching the mileage the other day doing about 130 chasing down a ninja bike.:spankme:
