So my car just got vandalized 2 weeks ago. I didn't like my carbon bronze pearl so instead of repainting it the same colour i was going to paint it another darker gray.

No i'm stuck between 2 audi colours

Daytona Gray Pearl Effect or Lava Gray Pearl

anyone have their 2 cents they'd like to share??

IMO, lava gray pearl is more attractive...but of course it ultimately comes down to what you want.

Mannnn even though I understand you dont like carbon bronze, a total color change is going to be VERY expensive and if its not it will look very bad. Reason being is unless they literally disassemble the entire car its going to look horrible. Remember everything has paint like door jams, under the hood and all the way down along the engine. Basically what im saying is unless your spending several thousand I would imagine a complete color change is going to look half ass. Maybe it would be fine on an old beat up civic, but a nice car such as a TL not so much. Imagine opening up your door and seeing carbon bronze still in all the door jams, or when you pop the hood etc etc.

Well with the colour change, it's not like i'm going from white to black. It's still a gray that is very close to CBP, Just a tad darker. I got a paint chip from the PPG and they look very similar when i put it next to the door jambs. But i know what you mean when you don't properly strip and paint the car it looks horrible. Since the insurance company is paying to paint my car the body shop agreed to do it.

lets c pics after the car is painted ... i agree they are similar colors but i still feel u will be able to tell the difference if the jams are not painted ... maybe find out how much more the body shop will charge u to paint the car properly and maybe if u pay the extra it wont feel like so much since the insurance is paying to paint most of the car
