What size is the washer for the drain plug on a third gen manual tranny drain plug. I went to the dealer and picked up some washers for the drain plug, the fill hole, and some spare oil pan washers. All three were different sizes, but when I changed my tranny fluid, the washer i used for the drain plug was the smaller oil pan washer. Is the oil pan washer the same size as the transmision drain washer? I dont see how I could have put the wrong size washer onto the transmission drain plug. If the tranny drain washer and the oil pan washer are the same size, what is this medium size washer I was given, for? I assumed it was for the tranny drain plug, but when i pulled the old one it was the exact same size as the smaller oil washers.

Check out these threads and they will show you the different washers and give a link to Acura Carland which will give you the sizes.

In one picture they show a bolt, plug, with a 14mm washer. In the other picture they show a bolt plug drain with a 20mm washer, but this one is at the top of the transmission. I don't know enough about the 6MT to know which bolt goes where, but you should not have any problem figuring it out.
