160000 KM equals 99,419 miles. Guess we can't quibble over the 5,600 mile difference.

Don't forget that the 04-06 TL odometers are off by 5%, so you don't reach 105K "actual" miles until the ODO reads 110,250...

All warranties for these model years were extended by 5% per the lawsuit settled with Honda/Acura...

Does this have most everything needed for a 2004 auto TL?

Be sure and post your experience and/or any hints in Majofo's DIY thread:

Have fun! Are you doing a valve adjustment as well?

I would do the cam and front main seals too if you plan on keeping your car. Although it seems that they are more than capable of lasting 105K, who knows if they will all last to 210K. I fear that a lot of members will be putting the 2nd timing belt on early because of some oil leaks.

I didn't. I'm of the school not to replace them if they're not leaking.

Really hard to answer that one definitively. I did and while all of my valves were out of spec, it was only by 0.001" (all at 0.010"). Is that bad? Maybe, in the sense it's out of spec. Was my engine going to be damaged? Probably not, assuming no further changes in clearance....but that's the $4000 question. At any rate, I'm glad I did it since my exhaust valves were tight and all valves were out of spec. A little peace of mind...

If you've never done a valve job before, I'd say allow 3-4 hours start to finish if you're doing it all alone. You'll also want to consider replacing the intake manifold gaskets (I totally missed these and didn't order new gaskets. I reused the old gaskets and everything is fine. SM says to replace them...), the valve cover gaskets and spark plug seals (mine were pristine, so I didn't)
