What are recent VIN numbers?
I have gotten quotes from 3 dealers on a non-nav TL, all in the color that I want SSM/Ebony. The lowest priced one has a VIN # in the 36XXX range. The other two are in the low 50xxx range (I think that is right). What are the most recent VINs? Also, does anyone know of anything bad about cars with the VIN in the mid 30's?
Thanks
Thanks

Most recent VINs are in the upper 50's (57-58k are the highest mentioned so far). Nothing bad is wrong with VINs in the 30k range. Go for the one with the best price and post your experience!

, you're ahead of me this time... I saw 604xxx a few days ago on streets with NJ plate. Based on this thread, http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85885, Acura claims they have sold 56,393 after June. Until today, I bet the new VIN should be exceeding 60k already.
And, it has TU2 EL42s with 2604 on them...

THere is about a $750 price difference between the cars. So, it sounds like the older VIN should be fine. Is it old enough to still have the old tires on it though?

I bought my car in March with a 328xx vin. I have had no issues with the car and it has the reformulated EL42's. You should be ok with any vin in this range or higher and maybe you can get a better deal on the earlier vin besides.

I bought in NC, Damson would not haggle.

Flow motors in Winston. Call a bunch of places and get a bunch of quotes, then pick two or three dealers and get them to bid against each other, worked for me.
BTW if you have any other questions Private message me,

Knoxville (Harper). I haven't talked #'s with them, but I have found some good deals in the Atlanta market. I too am willing to travel for the best deal.

I just purchased a new TL today and I'm picking it up on Friday. The VIN is 66xxx. So, well over 66,000 TL's made so far.
I'll post again when I actually have the little baby to drive!
