What is this part called?
it's the metal bracket that supports the headlight,, what's the "official name" of this? as i need one for the driver side of my TL. mine is all bent and smashed but it's still usable but my headlight doesn't sit right or align with the bumper/fender area.. (i let a friend take my car to go pick up some pizza, and what does he do.. doesn't leave the car in gear or pulls up the ebrake!,, next thing i know i have a phone call.. "uh hey.. i forgot to put the car in gear and pull the ebrake, when i came back outside your car had rolled into a hummers wheel" FML! anywho the number in the diagram is 9/15 on acuraoemparts website...& would i need number 9 OR 15 which is the driver side? here's the pic
ok i figured it out it's called ACURA TL BUMPER CORNER BEAM (UPPER) , here's the dumb question,, is driver side left or right?,, always had this confused, if your outside facing car it's right, if your inside sitting it's left.. anyone?

this is the part # you want. Left is drivers side. Right is passenger.
There is another part that goes on top of that that is called a bumper spacer. It is made of plastic and usually also breaks if there is damage to the metal bracket. I would check on that too.

this is the part # for the bumper spacer you might need.
I bought a used car so when I went to install my cold air intake(took off the bumper) I found that both the bracket and spacer were broken due to a previous collision. It was held together with zip ties. Bad. I had to replace both and now my bumper sits more flush.
