Power Steering pump.

That’s your power steering pump taking in too much air.
check P/S Pump reservoir for fluid level.
If you have fluid but it’s showing bubbles then you have a leak somewhere in the lines.
Our cars are notoriously known for the o-rings at the outlet tube for failing. Sometimes the inlet as well.
Pump may or may not be shot.
Get fixed asap.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Thanks for the info. I’ll check that. I’ll be taking it to the dealer if pump needs to be changed, do they usually change o-rings on inlet and outlet with the pump ?

I work at a dealership and let me say Stealership!

That’s insane of a price for just a P/S pump!
🤦🏽‍♂️.
Are you located in the Southern NY area?
If so bring your car to me and the part, I’ll do a side job for $200.

Price around the area with Local Mechanics and they will do the same job for most likely around 400$.

FYI, Yes one O-Ring if you get the entire pump replaced because the second O-ring is in the output spout already.
If the pump isn’t destroyed, and you were just replacing the O-rings, then it would be two O-rings one in the inlet, and one in the outlet.
One red one black.

Thanks for the offer. Really appreciate it. I’m in WA state.

I forgot to mention that price was for genuine Acura part ($650+) and $150 for install I was told. I’ll call them tomorrow and see what is the second best after market option they have.

Looking online genuine part is definitely in that price range. I’ll most likely go with after market part which I’m guessing will be less than $200. That will bring total cost close to $350 OTD. Hope I’m correct.

Ok looks like couple O-Rings that Honda dealer replaced did not do the job. They charged me close to $150, but when I drove back home (200 miles) my water pump was still making noise and there were bubbles in the oil reservoir. Also they did not top off the fluid. SMH.

I took it to my local indy mechanic and they will inspect the leak this week.
