what horrible luck!

So i just get my TL with brand new Type S wheels, detailed, certified and all last night. Parked it far away from everyone, but noticed last night that a corvette had parked next to me (probably for the same reason i did, which was to avoid cars that would possibly put a ding in my door) This morning i come to my car and the corvette that had parked next to me had been broken into. There was glass everywhere!! So i clean my TL off and check for damages and then head to work. On my way to work it begins to rain, and i put my windshield wipers on. Bad move, as there were tiny fragments of glass in the windshield wiper that scratched my front windshield....I had gotten all the glass that i saw off my car and my windshield, but i guess these were just to small to see!

I dont particularly want to get this replaced right now as i know with my luck that a rock from a semi or something will hit me the second i do, and then i will have to replace it again. You cant even see the scratches if you are looking at it on the outside unless you get right up on it, but they are plainly visible from the inside. I am an OCD clean freak so it really bothers me. Any remedy for this without replacing the front windshield (around 500 bucks)? Any advice?

Sorry to hear about this......it sounds like that Corvette was not broken into, but a revenge was done, probably some ex with a bat....if your whole car was covered with glass, it doesn't seem like a robbery.

How bad are the scratches on you windshiled? Take a pic.

At least it wasn't your car that got smashed into? There's always a silver lining...

or just call one of those windshield chip repair services. I'm sure they can handle something like this...and yeah if you have geico it might even be free.
