All black seats? No fog lights? But has the red gauges, and quad tips and type s steering wheel. No engine pics to see if it's a 3.2 or 3.5...odd

Either a 2004-06 with type-s gauges, exhaust, seats and wheels or a 2007-08 type-a with base seats, front bumper and some others 😂😂 either way its super sketchy

The VIN 19UUA76508A048194 indicates that it is a type-s.
However, the pictures indicate that it was fully stripped of the type-s goodies, like interior.

which means it was likely involved in an accident and the previous owner made money from the parts by selling them and replacing it with base parts

Involved in a front passenger collision, 2004-2006 light on the pass side and 2004-2006 bumper. Looks like they swapped the 2005-2006 interior in black, maybe due to side airbags deploying. Entire passenger side is poorly painted; hood looks to be used one. Looks like they took the headliner out of a 2004-2008 model that's non-type-S with the grey upper roof and pillar trim. Looks like a budget fix for a salvage car.

Yea the rear passenger side marker looks broken, and that piece that goes with the door handle on the passenger front door is missing. That thing is a mess imo...

I sent them a message and the seller thought he was cute and didn't think they were doing anything wrong by misleading anyone buying that rolling dumpster.

I missed the seat belts good eye! I think it's more like an Acura TL Type WTF Somebody is going to buy it, hopefully for parts and not someone who thinks it's a true Type S only to find out later...

That TL-S was involved in an accident mainly right rear, right side and right front. It was poorly put back together. Chances are the curtain side airbags and passenger seat airbag had deployed. The original "Tan" interior is probably harder to source vs black (seats, headliner ect). Whoever tried to half ass repair the vehicle just sourced whatever they could from a base model 04-06 TL. I called the seller out on it and his excuse was "This is how we got it" " We got it way below invoice" (NO SHIT...) and went on and on about how it's a good vehicle for a new driver and they offer financing.. Would you put your child in this vehicle? It wasn't repaired correctly and chances are the structural integrity has been compromised. Next time that vehicle is in a similar accident, it won't perform the same way. Dealership should have known better but greed over everything make sense to them. Who cares if someone gets seriously injured or killed, money is money and we got financing.

I wonder what color the interior was before, because the front seats have black seat belts. And if it was tan, wouldn't the doors have a tan in lay? I could be off on that however. Man I was under the assumption that once an air bag goes you're done/totaled. They totaled my 2005 base 3 years ago after being hit in the drivers front fender, side bags deployed. I knew it was done (233,xxx miles) and especially after the bag deployment. Thing is the guy at fault hit me then hit a 1 year old 2016 accord (remember this accident was in 2017) just sitting at a light. Steering wheel bag did not go off on the accord, but the drivers side one obviously did, they totaled the car. I was surprised they did total a 1 year old car at the time. It's my understanding that the cost to fix the air bags going is just to expensive...

The front grill is obviously minus fog lights, the entire passenger side is a mess. The car is in Joplin Missouri, maybe it's a victim of that 2011 F5 tornado we had...

That type-s had the taupe interior color. Whoever tried to put that TL back together did so with the "cheapest as possible" thought process. Chances are they couldn't obtain the correct headliner, seat belts and seat color so they went with option # 2 and that being swap interiors with a base 04-06 black interior. They probably sold the other items. That TL-S was for sure totaled and purchased to flip. Considering the amount of 3rd gen produced and are now in the scrap yards, it's not all that expensive to buy airbags ect. It's not like whoever attempted to repair this walk into the dealership to buy new parts. This was whatever we can find in a used parts bin and throw it in to sell.
