Well buying from a stealership is always going to cost you more then a private sale. Looks like a clean car, bluebook is around $9-$10k so is it a good deal...no.

Whats stopping you from negotiating on the price? Stealership charge more because of all the overhead. I personally would rather buy from a private party as it easier imo to get a better deal. Buying from a dealer may give you a little more piece of mind in regards to warranty and or problems the car may have. Buying a car with high mileage is something i personally wouldn't do unless it had some kind of extended warranty but that's just me.

Also are you paying cash or getting financed and if so are you pre approved? That also makes a little impact on what kind of price you get at a dealership. Id say go there, test drive it and if you got your heart set on it say ill give you 10k take it or leave it. If they say no then give them your # and say if you change your mind my offer is open for 24hrs or whatever time limit and walk away.

Good luck

12k is a ok price. 10-11k would be nice, but not a steal at all.

I don't know if you are on a budget, maybe that's why you are looking for a TL that is so inexpensive, but that car has about 28,000 miles a year. A 'Average' TL that is 2006 would have about 70-80k miles. 142k is alot, but you should have it inspected by a private shop and if it checks out mechanically fine than I suppose it's a good deal. I would imagine there is alot of interior wear on a car with nearly 150k miles though. Interior seats, trimming and etc but that's not really important.

I would try to cut at least 1k. But hey, if you're able to bring it down to an even 10k, that just means more money in your pocket for whatever mods you want to do!

Looks like a lot of service records but it doesn't really define what was done for a lot of them. Check to make sure that the 105K service was done.
