what do u remove??
what did u guys remove (for those who blacked/cleared their headlights)?? obviously u guys removed the front bumper in order to take out the headlights but thats not my question. I would like to know if u guys removed something from the headlights like bulbs, etc. I've been planning to do mine very soon, and i wanna install the led angel kit. does anybody know where i can get the kit for the tl 04?? i have the type-s head lights but i don't wanna have 4 rings, instead i wish to have only 2 that's why i was thinking on getting the kit for the 04 plus it's a little be cheaper.

Something like this:
For the ppl who cleared their headlights they took out the amber diffuser. For the blacked out look I believe they took out the diffuser and sprayed the housing black. You should be able to find a kit on ebay.
i don't wanna black them out, i wanna open them to install the angel kit. is there anything that i have to remove before putting the headlights in the oven?? also to seal them back i assume i will have to do the same process, i mean putting them in the oven so that i will be able to re-use the glue. correct me if im wrong thanks

You can buy any angel-eye kit there is. You don't have to use all 4 rings. If you find that the o4-o6 angel eye kit is cheaper then you might as well get that since you only plan to use 2.
As for removing anything to install angel eyes only... you do not need to do anything.
You can bake the headlight in the oven as is. Once you pry the headlight apart you're going to have to dismantle it. You'll need to find a way to 'glue' the angel-eye to the shroud as well. You will then need to drill 2 small holes to feed the wire through.
Before putting the headlights back in the oven find yourself some sealant... like silicone or Nissan Butyl Rubber. Try to put it back as flush as you can before baking it.
Once baked, take it out of the oven as quick as you can without burning yourself... then use a series of clamps to ensure you can get as tight of a seal as possible.
If you find any gaps that may cause condensation use some silicone to cover up the gap...
It's the best way I can explain it.
