When you gave a bad review, the Service MANAGER should have been the one on the phone not the service writer. Its the Managers butt on the line here

I used to run a shop- so here is the truth

Take it to another dealer as Acura suggested AND an independant shop to diagnose the real PROBLEM

Once the first dealer put in writing that you needed all those parts- based on what the mechanic said- usually- they are now responsible for that diagnosis or mis diagnosis

If it turns out your car needed NONE or only a few of the things listed, they are liable for fraud charges if they cant prove exact measurements and procedures used to determine your problem

Once again= take it somewhere else

Warning to all taking their car in this time of year, the shops have not been making their sales goals since before thanksgiving- thru Christmas- and now people start thinking about taxes due, its the nature of the business

As a result, your car may need substantial amounts of repair!!!
I took my car in for the trans at the end of December- and guess what- they wanted an extra 900$$ SURPRISE I paid 150 for the motor mount and all is well

Figure it out

What's not funny is the fact that he only called to enquire (more like argue) about the negative survey, not whether or not ironviet's TL was still having issues or how he/the dealership could help resolve them! This is what separates the bad dealerships from the really bad ones... (Hint: They area all bad, some are just worse than others)

If the SA, SM, or dealership overall had any good in them they would want to make it right. Instead, they only worry about the "survey" and would rather you not return because of your proven resolve to tell it like it is..
Trust me on this one folks... Dealerships don't like "constructive criticism"!!

Same here. I have problem with 2 dealers: Acura of Libertyville & Arlington Acura.
I’m noticed, on my brake pads wear indicator upward. I checked service manual, TSB – it’s very clear, should be downward.

But look what I have yesterday from Arlington Acura

Did you notice handwritings?
So Chicagoland TLers where to go, I ask dealership name?

wow, I couldn't even wait to the end. Well, I guess somebody better tell the aftermarket tire industry to look into other ventures. OEM tires all the way says the dealership guy
