AcuraStyle Errors in TL Article (Winter 2007 Edition)

Page 18 in the newly released AcuraStyle Magazine (winter 2007 edition) contains 2 errors referencing the TL engines. Error #1 describes the base TL's engine as a 3.5L (1st paragraph) and error#2 references the TL Type-S engine as producing 258HP (see side bar p 18).

Shouldn't someone get this right considering this is an Acura magazine? Its kind of embarrassing.....

Yep,
Their "attention to detail" is consistent...............

Just being sarcastic.. However, I would definitely be embarrassed if I published that blatant of a mistake.....

also one of the pictures is botched. Half of the passengers seat warmer switch is cutoff.

I also noticed those absurd, confusing mistakes in an Acura magazine. Even the newest Acura fan knows better.

It would be different if there were different models of TL in different countries but there isn't (except for minor differences in Canada).

They should add two new colors for the TL: Embarassed Red and Black Eye.

I think the mag is poop! I thought it would be all about cars but its more of a lifestyle mag. Fliped thru it and half the pictures is blured out. Perfect example of Acura quality I guess. After reading it I thru it out. Sorry, if I knew people wanted I would have kepted it and mailed it to you guys.

I definately agree with the majority that the mistake is inexcusable but the quality of TL is just fine.

After a few trips to the dealer to fix some stuff my TL is fine. Just a few things I wish was better. Like how my passanger door and dash ( the metal molding ) does not line up but my driver side does. And how im getting all these rock chips im getting from the smallest things hitting the windsheild. Just some of the things Acura should have addressed / quality checked before the car rolled off the line.

I noticed too! In the back of the magazine where they let owners ask questions, I also noticed that a person wrote in asking about if they can play songs over the bluetooth in their 2005 TSX.

Rather than answering "No" like the Acura guy did, they should have pointed out the 2005 TSX did not have bluetooth at all.

umm...no one re-reads the articles before publishing them into a magazine? Odd... especially for an Acura magazine to make those mistakes.

I saw that last week and showed my wife. She thought I was a wierdo for knowing the right numbers and the editors were lame for not knowing the right numbers.

Hell, I read the OTHER articles actually - I already own a TL, I don't need to read about what Acura thinks about their own car!
