Well then, thought this might be interesting boys..

http://clublexus.com/forums/car-chat...racetrack.html

Check that out, I was looking for a G35/TL comparison and this comes up and puts a smile on my face haha.

BTW, I know this topic is beat to death but can someone layout the pros and cons of owning a TL instead of a G35. I'm sorry in advance, but I always had a thing for 'em. Plus, my TL bugs me cause it's not a 6MT. lol

*not trying to sound ungrateful or anything, just being honest.

Good article from April 2007. I just read the first page, but it's good to see them give the Type S its just due.

I agree. A KBP 6MT TL-S would be a dream come true. lol, can you say no more G35? hahaha

*here's the link to the video of just the type-s going around the track, scroll down a bit and you'll find it.

Nice find! As much as I love my TL-S, I am also surprised by the outcome of this contest.

I am also surprised by how the Lexus guys handled it. A humble group of guys over on that forum. Good stuff.

That makes 2 of us bud, lol. I honestly was not expecting this to be the outcome.

Yeah, surprising since most people who drive lexus', including my dad ('07 ES350) tend to be a tad bit "cocky". haha

Nice find!

I find it funny that the Lexus owners are embarassed that their are trying to say that the TL Type-S is a unfair comparison with the IS350 instead it should be compared to a 30k+ more of a IS-F. LOL

Also it took a GT500 (500 HP car) to beat the type-s at the track. Amazing.
