I cant wait to put mine to the test to really find out if its better than the Type-S like the dealer claims. I should be over 600 miles by next weekend. Cant wait.....

If I can be so bold as to speak for everyone 30-60 years old on this board, may I say this:

What the heck you're saying? We're not all hip to your funky jive. I'm pretty sure you like the car, at least I hope so.

Just my opinion, but my 04 is better than my Type-S was in every was possible. You should aready feel it, but after the break in you'll feel it even more.

I have been very gentle on this car. I probably havn't reved passed 3500rpm yet. So far I am able to hit the gas right off the brake, on my type-s I had to let the car rool off on its own before i gave it any gas. Now the Tl feels stronger Torque wise in the rpm range I am driving in currently but the jury is still out on the type-s vs 04

I've had my TL for 10 days now. Have close to 400 miles on it and am breaking it in for the first 600 just like they suggest. However, today I was able to put about 150 miles on it, in and out of a lot of traffic and I can only say WOW. Incredible pickup and how sweet the acceleration is. Like an article I read yesterday stated: "if there is a sweeter running engine out there, we've never reviewed it".

Well, as a mid-twenties male, I feel I can translate this post for those of you who are having difficulty. Some of the beauty is indeed lost in the conversion, but a rough estimate would be...

Title "I just voilently attacked an object that reminds me of a female dog."

"It was my firm belief that the appropriate time had arrived to test my 2004 Acura TL. Tonight, I accelerated quite rapidly, quickly shifting through the gears. Mere words cannot express the excitement I felt as I performed this action. This car is directly from a town that is filled with people who organize and distribute prostitutes. It certainly is not easy to be responsible for such a large number of prostitutes, but I feel that someone must step up to the task."

Hope this helps!

Princed, nicely done. You remind me of Mrs. Cleever's translation of the 2 bros. in the first "Airplane!" movie. Hilarious movie, I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it!

I'm in my early 20's and I can't figure out what the heck he's saying. Something about pimping.

Is there a Jive to English translator out yet from babelfish?

You guys crack me up. Basically I was saying that this car is way cool and it’s very fast. Also that it isn’t easy putting out 40 grand for a car but hey we only live once.
