Rear seat pass-through...??

FROM MOTORWEEK:
The shorter length took its toll, however, on trunk space. It shrinks from 14.3 cubic feet to 12.5. But, to make room for longer items, there is a lockable rear-seat pass-through to help compensate.
Huh...??? WHAT pass-through? I thought the rear seats had no fold-down or pass-though of any kind.

It does, in the middle of the back seats. You can see the outline in the trunk. Haven't had time to find out how to open it yet.

The pass-through is right where the fold down rear arm rest is. The dealer today used it and reached in to open the trunk using the emergency pull. It seemed the battery in the showroom TL had either died or had been removed! Well, it worked!!
