Well it was fun, but I had to move on

Since 2001 I had owned 2 TL's, the first one was a 2002 TL Type S and I really loved that car. In 04 though the new body style came out and I really got the ich, but I was able to hold off until 05, thats when I picked up my 05 TL, it also was a sweet car, got the rims, body kit and of course I got the windows tinted, it was pretty sweet. Last thursday I finally made a discision to get a new car once again, but it wasnt gonna be the TL, I went with the 06 RL instead. I just wanted to wish you all good luckm this forum has been great, I have learned alot from some of you guys. Of course I will continue to read the forums, but mostly in the RL forum now. Thanks guys, its been fun !

To be honest I have been thinking the same thing. My dealer threw me the keys to an 06 RL for a day and now I have been really thinking about jumping on one before they are gone, i'm just waiting for them to get a Type S in so I can make a final decision.

Good Luck with your RL

I saw the TL-S and its a nice car, but I wanted the RL options, voice commands, touch door entry, all that stuff. The TL is a beautiful car, obviously, otherwiese I wouldnt have driven them for so many years, but the RL is a completely different animal. I will continue to stay wth Acura of course, there service here in the Seattle area is great, second to none and that means alot to me.

Why are so many people moving up to the RL from the TL this year?

The TL-S is nice, but for not much more you can get more luxury and features in the RL, especially if you get a close-out 2006 or a base (no navi ) 2007 RL.

Well for myself I wanted a change and not leave the Acura family at the same timem so I got a RL. I absolutely love the RL and once again for "me" it was the best choice.

I wish I could afford it. I have been driving an RL for a week as a loaner. I love it, it is soo quiet, the seats are very comfy, and there are NO!!!! rattles. It also has a much better turning radious and the sh-awd is fantastic.

When I took the TL to the dealer for some work the other night I went in the showroom and was looking at an RDX, primarily out of curiosity. That is one nice vehicle! The interior was especially spacious. I find it hard to imagine driving (a) an SUV and (b) a vehicle with an automatic transmission, and I really enjoy driving the TL to boot, but the RDX sure is a nice one. Needs a tape player on the stereo and a 6-speed manual and then it would be complete.

I have no intention of trading in the TL, but I like to look and see what's around.
