Alright, so check this out. I have this thing with all of my windows needing to be at the same position when their open. I cant just open the fronts, and have the back windows at different levels that the fronts are :gheywave:. There has to be other people out there like this too! Its not that I am OCD , but its a nice clean look when all the windows are at the same level.

With that being said, there has to be some kind of trick to get the windows to stop at the same position everytime you click the windows down. Anyone know how to do this???

but honestly, a lot of people make sure its even across all 4 windows.
theres no trick. just roll the front two down to where you want it, then proceed with the rears.
simple right?

 

I think the only way you can roll all the windows down together at the same time is using the down window feature with the FOB. Not sure if they will all be the same height though.

 

+1, but you can't activate the feature while driving. I know a couple of people who have this OCD like you. it's pretty weird.

I do the same If the front are rolled halfway down (when I'm parked and want to let air circulate through the car or something), I make sure the rear match the front.

 

Thats a negative, to close all of them at the same time you have to manual position the key in the key hole and twist twice to the lock side and hold..

^To achieve this with the fob you have to buy a module, i believe.

What works the best it roll down the fronts to where ever you want them, and time it in your head, and then hold the rear buttons down for the same amount of time. It gets them pretty close to even

 

Yeah I honestly dont know what it is, but I just think it looks better with all the windows at an even level with each other.

People who are in the car with me, especially my gf, hate driving with me because I child lock the windows so they cant mess up the perfect all-four-window-leveling haha

Just would be nice if there was a module that you could program for each window that would allow them to go down to a specific level when you press them the first time, somewhat like how the fronts go all the way down when you push the window button the whole way down.

 

This is correct. There is a module (up window module) that is available. Very nice feature I might add.

Don't you press the lock button once (doors lock) and then press and hold a 2nd time to lower the windows?

 

I do the same, when I'm driving I lower the windows like 1/4 and put all of them at the same level and the car looks better I think.

Definitely not a fetish HAHA but it is an obsession. Yeah, with the roll-up module I think you press lock once, then wait 0.5-1 second and press again. I don't think you have to hold the lock to get them to roll up like you do the unlock to roll down.

 

i have the same window fetish, glad to hear that its not only me ... i just use the fob before getting into the car, but like everyone said this only works before getting into the car. after you're driving around you are SOL. at that point i just roll all four windows completely down

HAHA I do this. I put them all halfway. My friends used to make fun of me. Also I learned as a trick that if your car is dirty and you don't have much time, wiping down the wheels and the windows make the car look pretty clean.

 

Same here...even all the way around but I don't feel bad about rolling down the fronts and leaving the rears all the way up.

 

I do this, too, and an ex gf would mess with me by lowering or raising her side . . . hence why she's an ex.

 

I do this as well! Sometimes I suspect people are watching me OCD out when I am trying to even them out! I love it!
