Weird noise

I accidentaly hit my highbeams(flash) while the car was not running and you hear a loud "clop" when they go on. reminds me of lights turning on at a stadium. What/why is that?

Could it be the shutter or mask or what ever it is in the projectors openning?

its the bi-xenons, there is a shutter that toggles between the lows and high beams. when you switch to high beams a solenoid engages the shutter and that is what you hear. its prefectly normal.

I have to say this 04TL has tons of noise coming out of itself. It's hard to figure out each of them in the first day.
