uuuugh is not only wdp... I get the same thing right on top of the bumper... its like it picks that area to stan around at and then leaves the nasty water stain...
Should just wash right off if you have wax or sealant on it . People don't realize that the rear of the car takes the most chemical abuse. Most of whats on the roof/trunk of the car runs down there and the vacuum created driving sucks all the contaminats and dust off the road right into that area.
Keep it well protected.

Not just on wdp and the rear bumper. The sideskirts and the gap between the door and doorsill gets dirty too. I wipe it down with water when the rain stops for a day until it rains again. Wash the car when the sun is out again. I have a strip of clear bra on top of that part of the bumper so it can take whatever you throw at it.

I have to resist the urge to grap a towel and wipe it off. :arrgh:

I feel your pain, mon. Had problem on my '05 NBP, and now my '07 TL-S CBP. You go through a brushless car wash, even with a blow dryer, and that part remains dirty. I don't care how many coats of wax you put on it
Only solution I have found is to carry a micro fiber towel in the trunk, and wipe the area off after every car wash.

Scratches/Swirls.
Better to rinse/wet, then wash with some soap and clean water then rinse again.
