Question Washing your TL

What kind of carwashing liquid do you all use to wash the TL...Just any ordinary one will work or a special one should be utilized...

Thanks for the feedback in advance...

If you're doing it yourself, you can't go wrong with any Zaino product on the exterior of the car. Just check out some of the Zaino threads in this forum and then droooooooooool over the pictures of some of these cars getting Zaino applied. :hitit:

While Zaino is a great car wash, you can use Meguires Gold that can be picked up at your local outlets, and it rated very high among car enthusiasts.

With Zaino, use must mail order it.

If you are using ordinary wax - Before switching to Zaino, I had used Turtle Wax's "Zip Wax" car wash for many many years. It works well, doesn't strip your wax and has a little wax in it.

Be sure to avoid ALL detergents or soaps, they will remove your wax protection.

BTW - You don't need to use Zaino polish to use the car wash. It works really well.

danno, you're in CT, why bother trying to keep the car sparkling clean this time of year? I'm in the northeast as well, and with the snow and yuck on the roads I'm resigned to the fact that the car's exterior will look awful until the Spring.

Zaino all over when the weather turns for the better.

I`ve got an ace in the hole for my crappy winters. A 95 Astro van with 115,000 miles, snow tires, and about 300 lbs. of weight in the back!!
