Visors problem

When I bought my 3G TL it came with some ugly aftermarket visors. Today I rolled my rear passenger window down.....I had the windows tinted 5 weeks ago and today was the first time I rolled that window down....visor caught onto the tint and made a huge crease in the tint. The tint shop is going to replace the window tint on that window in 2 weeks (I have lifetime warranty).

I removed the visors for good.....they were stuck with 3M tape or something. Now I am hearing more road noise then ever before. The seals are kinda messed up. What can I do to fix them? What is the purpose of visors anyway?

The previous owner was a retard!

Visors as in window visors?

If so, I really don't know why you are hearing excessive road noise now.

Window visors play a few roles...

1. Allows you to crack your windows while it's raining to get fresh air in the car without worrying about water flying all in the car. If you are a smoker, this is really handy.

2. Allows you to crack your windows during the summer when temperatures reach 100F to keep the interior of your car a bit cooler than it would be compared to all the windows rolled up. People walking by the car will also not even be able to see the window is cracked, so they are less likely to peek inside or drop trash in your windows (lol never happened to me, just saying)

3. Aesthetics.... Gives the car a "VIP" look. Well actually this only applies to the OEM Acura TL window visors. All other aftermarket window visors like AutoVent Shade (AVS) or WeatherTech look like shit. They bulge out and stick out and just look like they don't belong on the car. OEM Visors flow with the body of the car, covers both rear passenger windows, and look sleek and clean.

4. Somewhat keeps wind noise down while rolling with the windows down. It somewhat 'Deflects' wind.

Window visors is a hate it or love it kind of thing. There are MANY MANY people here on acurazine that hate window visors with a passion. They believe it ruins, kills, demolishes the look of the car. Than there are people like me that love window visors for its function as well as physical appearance. Black car, black window tint, dark window visors = player

The OEM visors look really nice. I hate the ones I had though. I saw similar ones on some random crappy civics and accords/minivans.

And as far as the noise....I have my music a bit louder .
