VIP style is one thing...but dont go too ghey on it man! Curtains? If you wish to be laughed out of every parking lot you pull into....go for it! Otherwise...I would rethink that idea. Seriously.

Now....I will tell you that you are likely to get slammed pretty bad on this idea...almost as bad as the guy that wants lambo doors in this section as its primarily motor heads into speed.

Now....tell me this is all just a joke. Its gotta be.

i think you could pull it off with the right mods look at this 2nd gen TL it has curtains.

 

def can work with the right setup. I can't lie, I actually thought about it for a while and decided against it.I love the VIP style. Instead,I got some junction produce neckpad's that I love to satisfy my vip urges for now......

 

If I have exact same car as yours, I wouldn't bother putting curtains on my car. but like other members said, with the right amount mods on 2nd gen TL, Yes.

 

What are those wheels on the OP's car? I like 'em.

 

Can I just ask why you would need curtains for your car? Why don't you just tint your windows really dark?

You either need a white or black car to go VIP, and then slam it loooow with some wicked negative camber in the back and some baller wheels...TL really isn't the car for that. Get yourself a lexus!

OP, Start with the basics. You need to slam it and limo tint before you worry about other aesthetic VIP mods.

 

Have you been to Japan? Its usually reserved for cars like the LS or Q45 and they do a great job there. I don't think you can VIP a TL.

Are your wheels staggered too?

 

His wheels do not look staggered and they do not look VIP enough. His tires are not even stretched. Car is not low enough. You got a long way to go before curtains.

Tell you what, repaint your car black, go spend 5k on some VIP rims, 5k on some air runners, custom make a VIP style lip kit, get a roof spoiler, some window visors, then you can get the curtains.

My wheels are staggered... The front are 8.5 wide and the rear is 9.5 wide

 

with 5% tint you can have sex in the car and no one will notice, so dark tints = go for teh curtains

curtains are so played out, go for wooden blinds!

 

It's okay to ask advice & opinions , becuase some people need them ex..( the guy with a batman wing , loudest exhaust and automatic)... Nothing against them to each his own ....But with the right drop and wheels I think curtains would look good , because I'm thinking about it .... Do it.... What's the worst could happen if u don't like it take them off........ Time to expand and try new things....

Thanks for all the comments guys... My tires are stretched now.. and my fenders just got rolled... The rears used to be 275 30 19 now they are 225 40 19 so it looks real good

 

You need a minimum of 3" lip in the front wheels and sideskirts 1" off the ground to have Curtains on the car

Don't let people discourage you from an idea or vision of how YOU want YOUR car. Take the steps you need to get where you gotta be with your car and it'll come together.

I can guarantee if you had them on your car already with whatever else you wanted to do to it the comments and reactions would be different.
