FYI -- last night I nearly got nabbed by an Alpharetta [Georgia] officer using LASER / LIDAR. He was "around a bend" on a highway and had there not been a car in front of me, and I hadn't had the V1, I would have been dead meat. Note that I picked him up from pretty far away (quarter of a mile) and he wasn't straight in line with me.

So for those contemplating radar/laser units, this is yet another example of where I was saved...

Hmmm... don't need a radar detector if you have NBP.

Just turn off you're lights and zip on by, then cut a 180 while turning your lights back on. It's as if you were right behind him all the time. Cause when he makes the U'ey to go after you just look at him when he passes with a "Wow, wonder what's going on?", look. He'll be confused too.



Works all the time, I should know... radar detector free and ticketless!

 

I've got a passport 8500 and it's paid for its self many times over...definately, good radar detectors are well worth the expense.

Try Googling Valentine One and/or Ebay. I've seen them on Ebay. Bought my Escort 8500 on Ebay. Any radar detector that saves you once is paid for!!
