Off topic but just have to ask, have you seen the C6 GTR Carbide LED headlights? They look incredible and will be the first mod I get if I ever land up with a C6 ZR1
@jdmvette I was lucky the color matched internals of the headlight were one of the features about the C6 I fell in love with.
I'm happy as that saved me $1500 They call those the C8 headlights and then there's the C7 style...if I decided to get ANY
down the line, it'll be the ones you posted, for sure.
Yeah, I tried looking into syncing them with turn signals. But I've found out that it alternates with the blinkers which I find just isn't clean and looks like christmas lights.
I bought my self some "smart relays" recently, hopefully I can figure out a way for them to sync them proper.
@joe.abp According to this video, we would just need to rewire the side markers with a 5-pin relay in order to get them to turn on normally and then for them to blink in correct sequence with the main turn signals. Doesn't look too hard
So you like the light output, but the fitment is trash it looks like? That sucks, but is good to know I guess.
My smoked Depo switchbacks are much darker than yours (i.e. almost black). The shade of your lights look like a weird in-between color.
Actually they might not all be created equal. I've had mine since the summer and they fit just like OEM in every way. I bought it from a vendor on ebay. Here's the link to the vendor: https://www.ebay.com/str/automobilelightsexpert
I ended up purchasing the clear set and painting them as I prefer the rear housing red yet it seems no one makes them. I thought they would be obnoxiously bright thus making them look cheesy but once both the front and rear are installed it simply looks updated.
