Hi everyone,

Long time lurker, first time poster (I think; it's been so long - I don't ever remember posting)... Over the weekend, I fell into an '08 Black on Black TL-S, certified with 17k miles on the odo. Added the extended warranty (at almost no charge) to cover it for 7yrs/100k miles.

Previous car was an '06 Anthracite TL 6MT w/ navi (bought new in Nov'06), traded at 57k miles... got married, had a kid = bye bye MT for me.

I was initially sad while I was swapping my stuff into the TL-S, but quickly got over it thanks to an hour long therapy sesssion with the subtle rumble of the TL-S motor and exhaust. For anyone who says there's not a significant difference b/w the 6MT and S auto, I beg to differ... maybe not in quickness, but certainly in aesthetics - specifically, style and sound from my perspective. This car is sweet

Congrats! I am considering making the same move...06 WDP Base w/Nav to an 07/08 WDP Type S. I am currently trying to make a deal on an 07 wdp w/blk interior, but the difference is not worth it at this point...if they come down on price or give me a little more on trade, I think I'll make the move.

Don't feel too bad. Soon you'll get to experience the joys of Brembo brake dust. Let's just say it's a good thing our wheels are gunmetal.
