Thought I knew everything about my 07 TL, but Nooooo.The light that glows under the dash in both the driver and passenger side, I thought that it was a reflection from the map light of the two blue lights by the mic. But I found out that there is a bulb in both areas. There is no mention of this in the owners manuel. Anyone know about this i.e. size etc...Help

 

i have no clue, but i wish the 06 had this...

I just noticed this the other day in my 07 Type S b/c of this forum. I like it but wish it was a tad brighter

 

yes. the first time i heard about it was in the Type-S, but i guess all 07+ got it. there are people with 04-06 with it, but it was a DIY.

 

You can make it a tad brighter by take the little cover off the LED. I did my drivers one Saturday but having a bugger of a time getting the under dash cover to come out on the passenger side. Does anyone know how to remove this?

 

took me a couple months to know i had this also

 

csmeance told me if you take out that cap thats on the led, the light lights up more.. i did it and it does light up a little more

 

Same here. Will try taking the cover off as suggested.
