I bought type s wheels from the dealer about 6 months ago. I noticed this morning that one of my front wheels has starting chipping/peeling the paint. Has anyone else run into this? I will take some pictures as soon as i can but its a real bummer. Should this be covered by Acura?

 

i thought the tl-s wheels werent painted?.......did you scratch it up against a curb?

 

peel? thats not normal. are u sure its not a result of curb rash?

 

I'd take it in, perhaps they will replace it.

 

I have the same issue with my '04 stockies. Looks like the clear coat or something is peeling.

 

My rims got wrecked first week I had my tls. Girlfriend going through starbucks drive thru decided to try out the curb finders.

 

Yup having this issue on my set of stockies too. But I don't care since I'm going to abuse them in harsh Chicago winter

 

I had the same issues on my lexus rims and it covered by factory warranty.
It should cover by acura bumper to bumper warranty.
