I am thinking about getting a type S grille and would like to know the prices. I believe that the type s grill is my broad and is real metal material, whereas the base model grill is plastic. Am I correct?

if you head to www.oemacuraparts.com you can find all your needs at a fraction of the cost

 

its only going to fit if you have an 07-08. the hood trim is like 45, so is the V part on the grille. and the emblem +bar is 80. They are most definatly plastic.

 

oemacuraparts.com they are a vender on here. They are both plastic as Justin said, difference is base grill is painted silver and the Type S grill is chrome. Also, Nick is correct, Type S grill will only fit 07-08.

 

Drats! Thought a type s grille would fit a 05, oh well I guess I will just have to do without. Thanks for your input guys!

 

It could fit with modification.
There are plenty of people here that have done it.

 

Hold up a sec guys, I withdraw my last statement. I forgot to tell you that about some time back I had changed the front facia of my 05, and inserted the 07-08 mesh behind the grill so that it would look like the 07-08 models. Would a type S grill work on an 05 model then?

 

pics. is it just the mesh or the entire piece that connects the trims.

The middle bar and bottom "V" chrome pieces wont fit unless you have an 07/08 front bumper. The hood trim will fit all years though.
