The OP was putting it on an 07 base which is a different bumper than what comes on an 04-06 base.So to answer the question NO the pic. is not convincing enough. Just looking for an answer from someone with more TL knowledge than myself.

 

I'm looking to do this mod myself and after reading a few threads it seems like
If you have an 04-06 base TL...you won't be able to have the 07-08 Type-S Aspec Lip on your car, unless you can somehow mod/cut it.

I believe it fits on straight if you have a 07-08 TL Base though, not sure about the fog curves.

So the easiest way to to get this Type-S Aspec Lip kit on your 04-06 Base TL is to actually buy;
- the front Type-S Bumper w/Aspec Kit
- Grills
- Fogs

Is my understanding of of this correct? How much would it cost to to get all this done?

 

Someone has already done this 07-08 BASE with TL-S front bumper. The poster had pics as well.

 

I just bought all the parts for my 06 and your looking at least $1,000. 260 each for both the bumper and lip. Plus 120 for a complete grill than foglights and most importantly painting the bumper lol. Im just waiting to paint the bumper now and put everything on

 

Trying to do this as well to my 05 TL base. Where did you manage to find the OEM bumpers? Everything i find is just a replacement aftermarket bumper. Does the front bumper come prefitted with the fog grill inserts?

 

Type s headlights would complete it. clean NTL

 

Looks great man, some eyelids on the headlights would help with the aggressive look on the front.

 

Awesome at the moment i have stock thinking of a-spec kit base for later !
