Hi everyone,

I'm a long time lurker on the boards. Due to a very unfortunate accident, I'm in the market for a new car, and I'd love to join the TL 3G club. Unfortunately I can really only handle financing about 20k OTD. I'm looking for a 2004 (or a 2005 if its cheap enough).

Do you guys think this is possible? I've looked a bit on ebay and the only sub 20k TLs I've seen have very high mileage.

Also, what kind of things should I watch out for when buying a used TL (or used anything for that matter).

for 20 k ... u should look for cars that are around 22k also and try to bargain them down to 20k out the door ... u should be able to get one with around 50 - 60 k ...
try to get an 05 since the 04 was the first model year of production of 3g and has more problems usually than the 05's ...

 

Yeah like the guy above me said, try looking for one that's 21~23K and see if you can talk them down.

I think you could probably get a non-NAVI with 50~60K miles for around that price.
