Trunk Tray

Anyone know of a good price for a Trunk Tray in the SoCal area? My local dealer wants $100 plus installation.

I really cringe at paying $100 for what probably costs the manufacturer $10.

Are there any good aftermarket trunk trays?

You can get one from handaaccessories.com for $78 plus shipping. Installation charge? Do you really need someone to install that thing???

I don't know how close you are to them but here is their address, so shipping shouldn't be much since you are both in CA.

There is no installation. The hardest part is figuring out which is the front, then you put it in the trunk like that and you are done.

6151 Auburn Blvd
Citrus Heights, CA 95621

This is a shipping address only. Orders can not be picked up at this address.

If a person wants to use their cargo nets, the installation isn't quite as easy as simply dropping the tray in the trunk...but it's close. If you unscrew the 4 cargo net connection points on the floor of the trunk, then set the tray in the trunk, then poke the screw tips through the pre-formed circles in the tray and screw them back in, you can then connect the nets the same way as you can without the tray. But rest assured, 714tman... it's a 2-minute no-brainer job.

I bought mine from Keyes. If you bought your TL from Weir Canyon, then the trunk tray probably cost you about $1,470.00

Danny from Weir Canyon Acura called me the day I was taking delivery of my TL. Just out of curiosity, I told him I was still in the market and asked him what the best, no BS price he could give me. He said "As far as the price is concerned, $34,970 + fees is the very best I can do."

I paid $33,500 at Keyes with muds and locks.

With respect to installation; it is a dealer thing - they always quote it with installation when I call.

Thank you for the web link to buy it online. I love this forum!

Wink

$33,000 out the door, '05, Redondo Red/Camel/Navi, wheel locks, Muds, trunk tray, and of course the Acura Thermal Cup and Key Chain! Dealer had to actually "find" the car for me and then have it trucked in from Simi Valley. Great Service so far......
