Trouble's with V-LED's Purchase

I purchased over $85.00 worth of lights from this company 4 weeks ago based on the many posts here. I received an email telling me that my order shipped then two days later another email telling me that 2 of the items I ordered were out of stock and suggesting alternative (but more expensive) items which I agreed to and PayPal'd them another $35. After waiting 3 weeks and getting nothing I asked and they said that the first email was wrong and nothing had been shipped to me at all. Today I told them via email to cancel my order and refund my $117 bucks, no response.

Anyone else have troubles with them, kinda the bait and switch deal and then claiming some items shipped when they did not. I'm not at all impressed....

Did you contacted V LED? Or file a claim. What type of shipping method they sent to you? USPS? UPS? FedEx? Any tracking number?

I canceled my first order with them without any problems. $$$ refunded but pending on PayPal for a few days, though...
2nd order received in couple days.

Jake at V-leds has always been very good about refunding. I purchased some 9005 DRL LEDs a while back before they had the DRL harness and they didn't work properly with the TL DRL system. He accepted the return and gave a full refund back. I've also made at least 4-5 orders through V-leds and all have arrived within a few days ordering.

I have had nothing but great experiences with V-Leds.com. I have ordered form them a few times and even got Jake on the phone and had a great convo with him about what would be best for my interior lights. They have always shipped stuff to me really quick and I consider thier customer service top notch. Give them a call, i am sure he will clear everything up for you. I too needed to get a refund from them for a mistaken double order, he sent me a refund while I was on the phone and would not let me hang up until I checked my paypal account to make sure that it had cleared my account.

I've also had great experiences with V-Leds, It may have just been a mis-communication. Just try giving them a call, i'm sure they will work it out. Seems like a pretty legit company.

Ive ordered from them over 5 times and spending around 200$. Never had a problem with their service. Only one time a bulb came DOA and they offered to replace it which I never accepted because I had a spare. BTW all the bulbs are still working after a year.

So yea send them another email because I don't think there is a number to call.

Ordered from them about 5 times as well. Only had a problem once with a pair of defective bulbs. I sent them back and received a refund once they got them.

Another time I had ordered some reverse lights and I was complaining to VLEDs that I never got them but I had them shipped to my work and a co-worker picked them up for me ( I was out that day) and then never told me he had them, so he had my LEDs sitting in his desk for a week. The whole time I was complaining to VLEDs and they were telling me they were delivered. Then my co-worker was like oh BTW I had this package here in my desk for you since a week ago I forgot I had it... I apologized to vleds and felt like an ass for bitching at them, then I proceded to bitch my co-worker out lol.

I ordered a few lights for $50 on 3/26, and haven't received them yet. I was hoping to get someone on the phone but I couldn't find a phone # on their websites. I sent an email and another message via their site. I haven't heard back yet, but they said I should receive suttin back within 24-48 hrs. I received the invoice with a tracking #, but the tracking # doesn't provide any details. It was sent USPS First class so I'm guessing I should've received it by now. I'm gona give it a couple of more days to either get my items or a response.

Stay on it. I personally haven't been in touch with them via phone but did work out a replacement for a defective bulb by email. They were very easy to deal with it just takes awhile to ship, at least for me, if you're on the east coast. But, it sounds like you've been waiting longer than reasonable for a resolution so I would call them.

Where did you all find a telephone number, there is none on the web site. So far it's been two days since I requested a cancel and refund and ZERO response. How can all of you have positive experiences and mine be so bad.

Sent an email to: sales@v-leds.com. This is their response.

I have checked your shipment in our system. It definitely went out on the 27th, but for some reason it did not scan as picked up. There is another shipment to Florida right next to yours that is the same way, no update and not delivered. I would give it a few more days, maybe to the end of this week. Send us an email if you do not get it by Saturday.

No name or phone number. I'm giving it to the endo of the week.

I ordered 8 bulbs but only received 6. Sent an email and got a response within the day stating the rest of my order will be shipped right away and I got it a few days later. GL maybe they got lost during transit?

Try www.superbrightleds.com I've ordered from them before, with no problems at all.

V-leds

I too wanted to call V LEDS and ask some questions prior to order placement. No # available on there web site. I then placed my order several days ago (hope I have the right part #'s and product) and was told via e-mail that the order shipped. The USPS # on my order is invalid according to the USPS tracking web site. I sent 2 e-mails to ask some questions and NO response at all. No Phone # to contact them. POOR Customer service. If I get my order this will be my last order. I like to talk to people that I am spending my $$ with. Who is Jake at V-LEDS?. What is there phone #. Why such a secret?

damn thats messed up.... ive never had a problem with them so far... hope it doesnt start either... g/l with clearing up your issues though

I have ordered 3 times from them in the last month and a half got them with in a week, one order had a bad bulb e mailed they e mailed me back in a day and they replaced with in a week they have been spot on for me, Have spent about $200 Lights look awesome as well

Now I received this email from vleds....contradicting their other email.. this ish is mad shady... and still NO phone #.. WTF.. I'm about to just cancel the order! Meanwhile, I NEVER received the email theyre referencing!!!



We sent you an email stating some of the items you had ordered were out of
stock. We apparently did not get a reply back from you. Your order has been
on hold this entire time. The good news is the items will be in stock on
Tuesday and we will ship your order complete. Let us know if you would like
to make any changes before it goes out.

Anyone got a phone #????

My experience with them is now complete - After three days of no reply to my cancel and refund request I received and email last night simply stating the order is canceled and money refunded to PayPal (which it was). No mention of the reason for the slow response or late shipping etc. I'm still very confused why most of you have had great experiences with them but mine was so bad. Now off to purchase all my lights elsewhere.
