Tree Sap Removal from Windshield

Hey you guys,

I had to park my new TL under some trees this weekend and some sap fell onto the windshield and paint.

Any suggestions for a non abbrasive sap remover for the windshield?

Also any additional suggestions for a non-abbrasive remover for the rest of the body?

Does Meguiar's or Zaino make anything for this purpose?

I know that a thread has been posted on this already, but I was wondering if there was any additional news on the subject.

Thanx,
TL-Rocket

For the body, the clay bar might help. The sooner you get to it the better. When sap gets on the windshield I use a foam spray window cleaner and a straight edge razor. Take your time and be careful

Rain x works for me on the windows, clay bar is quick and easy for the paint. Remember that if you drop the clay bar on the ground throw it away, everything will stick to it. Learned this the hard way a couple of years ago, detailing turned into scratch removal after dropping the clay and brushing it off (it looked clean).
