Good afternoon , just got a 2005 tl and transmission appears to be shot.. And was wondering if anyone knew if the ttransmission form a 06 tl would work on the 05 ? And if so do any other parts need to be swapped out as well ?looked a bit a this forum but haven't found a definite answer.. I've read that it can be done from an o6 to an 04 tl but doesn't really specify if anything else needs to be changed when doing the swap ... On my 05 tl the top filter was just trashed it was falling apart took it out yesterday going to replace it today with a new one and fresh fluid to see if it will drive hopefully it'll work but getting preped for the worst any help with this would be greatly appreciated thank you

Why not use an 06-07 Accord V6 transmission?
Follow the attachment, with diagrams, that outlines what parts need to be swapped and be done.
