Transmission swap

I'm sure it's already been ask, but I'm lazy and dont feel like digging. I've got a 2005 TL automatic that will go into gear and after about 30 feet and it's like its in neutral. shut it down wait about half an hour and repeat, my question is, should i swap for a different transmission? if so which one? Should I go for an accord transmission? Would it be better to have mine rebuilt? any help would be awesome thanks in advance

The subject you are inquiring about and potentially investing in is certainly not one you'd want to be lethargic about.
Unless, of course, you want to be ripped off?
With that said, empower yourself and use the forum 'search' function above. Type in AV6 transmission and educate yourself.

get one that's rebuild with the valve body upgrade kit and you'll be fine.

Your issue will be sourcing an accord trans, they only made the v6 accord for 2 years as I recall so they aren't a "dime a dozen" type thing like if you were pulling once from a 4cyl civic. In either case your pulling the transmission, I'd pull it, take it to a shop, and have them quote you a rebuild.
