Transmission Loss of power

Hi Guys, I'm new out here but I've been following threads here for a while. I currently own a 2006 Acura TL with Nav and Automatic transmission. Recently there has been loss of power when trying to accelerate and my transmission going into high rpm before switching gears. The car those not have adequate power even when throttled down, Scanned but no error code from the engine and transmission. Currently on 180k miles and recently drained and refilled with Honda DW 1. Any input would be appreciated.

Does the trans eventually change gears once you let off the throttle or does it continue to slip? Is there any shuddering when shifting?

was the fluid brown or burnt previously? How much metallic content on the drain plug?

Sounds like a 2006 5AT TL Tranny beginning to slip.

It changes eventually and you can feel a shuddering when it does. Fluid was brown but nut burnt and there were no metal shavings

Either the torque converter is on the way out or the clutch packs are gone. You can try band-aid fixes like pressure switches and such but it sounds like you will need a rebuild soon.
