I have an 07 TLS, 55k miles, no mechanical issues so far. I have noticed a definite loss of power the last few days. It almost seems like a transmission issue.....It feels as if the trans is always in one gear higher than it should. If you give it full or almost full throttle it is a bit sluggish to start and then seems to regain power once the rpm's hit 5k. I don't usually scream the engine in my normal drive so I am really noticing this drop in power.

Anyone ever experience this? I was going to have the dealer take a look next time i take it in for service but figured I would check in here first.

 

that's odd. rather than taking it to the dealer, have you considered taking it to your own trusted mechanic?
